Guitar Lessons
Guitar lessons are given on acoustic guitars only. We will not be using electric guitars. In lessons, students will learn to play rhythm using guitar chords and will also learn to play melodic pieces. Guitar students will gain knowledge about music theory, history, and composition. Lessons are offered to students age 10 to adult. Students must furnish their own instrument and the instrument must be the appropriate size for the student.
Lesson Information
Students will need their own acoustic guitar, and it needs to be of appropriate size. Not all ages will begin with a full-size guitar.
Students will also be asked to purchase lesson books, which usually cost approximately $30.00, depending on the level of development. The teacher will instruct on which books to purchase.
